About Mr. Queen (철인왕후):
A male chef (Shin Hye Sun) has risen up the ranks to find a job cooking for the country’s top politicians in the South Korean presidential residences, the Blue House.
He is something of a dreamer - but one day finds himself in the body of a young queen from Korea’s past, Kim So Yong.
Kim So Yong’s husband is the reigning monarch, King Cheol Jong (Kim Jung Hyun). However, he is only king in name - the late King Sunjo’s Queen, Sun Won (Bae Jong Ok), has taken advantage of Cheol Jong’s better nature, and is ruling the realm in his name.
Queen Sun Won’s brother Kim Jwa Guen (Kim Tae Woo) also has designs on power.
However, Kim So Yong soon discovers that King Cheol Jong harbors secrets, and is not as gentle and meek as he seems…

Technically and physically there was not really a bisexually awaking. He was stuck in a womans body who is attractive to the king as a woman. Beside he was also saving her to. By being bold, to speak when needs to and to be stronger

If you remember this was before she goes into the water before the wedding trying to kill herself and then found the chef underwater. You should really watch the drama, its super good.

A soul is a soul no matter what flesh suit it’s in, and gender is a social construct. In the Chinese drama of this show the ‘man’ embraces that he is no longer the ‘man’ he was before and embraces his position as the king’s queen. I really hope that’s how this one turns out, but idk how Korea would handle that 🤷🏼‍♀️

Story of this drama is very similar to a indian film Mr. Ya Mrs. Only difference is that in film the story is around a man who transform in girl in his dream and this in drama the story is round a man who transform into a queen in real.
