Ordered our Viking stainless 7 series duel fuel 48 last May- still waiting on our unit! The 7 series broiler for the small oven is not available yet - getting an old 5 series broiler unit installed until it becomes available. Thank you Covid & supply chain issues!! Why are you stating that 6-12 weeks is the Viking lead time? We spoke with the factory rep yesterday and she is saying that our unit should arrive Mid Feb. There is quite a line in front of anybody who orders one now- 6-8 months is more like it!

Hi Todd, thanks for the view and comment! When we made the video in December of 2020 lead times were differing a bit than they are currently. This was produced when we were seeing much shorter lead times on the product. As of now there are 20-24 week lead times on the product. Everyone in our industry is praying that lead times go back to normal sooner than later! Let us know how you like you range after you get it.

That's a gorgeous range. My range is fine but my exhaust is not good- shocked myself cleaning it the other day. Ah well, a project for the future.

Tell me about the plate warmer lights and options for what kind of shelf.

The plate warmer would be an accessory for the range and would substitute the island trim it comes with. The heat lamps would be on the hood which is also separate from the range purchase. Some people elect to have a special plate warmer made from tile if they want a less commercial look in the kitchen. Hope that helps! Thanks!

@@sqwrrl What kind of range do you have below the hood? Many ranges have optional high shelves. If you get the model of your range we can possibly find one for your range!

@@MARSILLIOSAPPLIANCETVBBQ I have the 48” Viking series 7. Six burners plus griddle, double oven. It is set in with kitchen counter on each side but no cabinet that extends up like your set-up there. I think what I need is a shelf bracket on either side of my backsplash, with the warming shelf that drops in. I would rather it be stainless than glass. Maybe the shelf could hide the bracket at least partly?

@@sqwrrl Yes, it seems though you will have to go the customer route. If you have the all gas the High shelf model number would be HS24748SS and sells for $1039.
