I’m not to that point yet, but I am sure many cruisers aren’t. You will have a good time at the ports no matter who your cruise mates are and you won’t have kids or crowds to deal with. Plus, you can outrun someone with a walker when you need to get in line to disembark.

I`m surprised that nothing was made of the overpriced tours and tat on the onboard shop and the `suggested` high value tips for the crew. Regarding the tips, if they need tips in order to survive and do the jobs that they are paid to do, then they should take it up with the company and not expect the passengers to make up the shortfall.
