thank you SO VERY much! You have saved our sanity after my step daughter bought this machine today for our 9 year old grandson! Its was absolutely filthy and disgusting amount of lint inside the bobbin area!..Funnily enough, the feet hadn't been used we don't think. 3 hours of cleaning and vacuuming looks nearly like new now..all for $35 AUD...far too much for the trouble but now we are happy. Downloaded the manual too and you on KZbin...what a life saver, now a little 10 year old in June, will be so happy

Great demo. Really looking at getting this machine. Can it run a twin needle? There only seems to be position for one top thread. EDIT: Nevermind, I found your other video on set up. I even learned something new about thread winding, thank you!

I’m an experienced seamstress and have always used baby lock machines. I bought the husqvarna 118 and am ready to toss it across the room! I’m having a very, very difficult time sewing through even just slightly thick fabrics! I can’t get it to feed right and end up with the top fabric stretching way too long so that it ends up extending an inch beyond the lower fabric piece! I’ve played with every feed, length, tension setting and it still ends up a mess that I need to rip out. Please help! There’s got to be a trick I’m missing.

The trick is to use the walker foot attachment. I used a basic cotton on top of terry cloth yesterday and had puckering fabric until I put on my walker foot attachment and then everything smoothed out. There is also the dial on the upper left side of the machine with #0-3 and these are the adjustment for tension of the presser foot. Thicker fabrics might call for less pressure of the presser foot but I just use my walker foot.
