Thank you so much! I was gifted this machine, no manual and i have struggled with threading! Im a newbie at sewing so not straightforward for me. I have tried finding a manual online but no luck, even tried the company and they were so rude because its an old machine. It works like a dream though so why change it?

You can run the thread through the tension guide and not the needle when winding the bobbin.

My bobbin winder stays engaged and the needle won't go up and down even when bobbin is off the winder. Any suggestions?

In my experience you don’t have to thread through the needle for bobbin winding, it risks bending the needle
