Thanks for your reaction to the Queen of Goosebumps. Diana was sent to orphanage at age 3, abandoned by her mother with a broken collar bone in mid winter in a bus shelter. She was adopted at 5 years old, stuttered and had speech problems. Sent to a speech therapist who used singing as part of her therapy. Diana discovered she loved singing had further lessons and with the support of her adopted mother continued singing . The result is what you see now!!!

Greetings from Scotland! Diana was just 18yo here, she is 20yo currently but I've been following her since she was around 13yo. Diana is a natural Dramatic Contralto so the lower registers are her comfort zone but she now has a 5+ octave range and it's increasing. She also naturally sings with polyphonic overtones so it sounds like many voices at the same time! To fully understand what created this incredible vocal phenomenon, you need to know a short history of Diana's younger life. Diana's birthmother had multiple miscarriages but when Diana came along, she seemed to hate her. She verbally and physically abused her, trying to drown her and belittle her. It all culminated when (at 3yo) she dragged her to a bus stop with a broken collarbone and abandoned her, saying "Survive if you can" A passing relative took her in but because she cried constantly (naturally with a broken collarbone) she took her to the authorities who removed Diana from her birthmothers care and placed her in an orphanage. For almost 2 years Diana never gave up hope and she knew that she was meant for something better. (This story is in her Wikipedia entry) Finally her new mother (Irina Ponik, who worked as a masseuse there occasionally) Signed her adoption papers and took her home. She vowed to pay Irina back for her kindness. Irina had a real struggle because Diana had obviously been badly affected by the experiences and at 5yo, she had a very bad stammer. It was recommended that she be taken for singing lessons to help this and immediately it was recognised that Diana had perfect pitch and an excellent ear for music and songs. 1 year later, at 6yo, Diana was performing solo on stage! This young unique phenomenon sang everywhere and anywhere she could, working constantly to earn money for the family who rescued her. Очень симпатичная реакция - в первую очередь, потому, что очень естественная. Это естественное удивление человека, который хорошо понимает, чему именно он удивляется. Это не интуитивное удивление, как у большинства авторов подобных роликов, но и не хладнокровное удивление специалиста, способного каждую секунду анализировать вокальную технику и качество звука. Судя по всему, перед нами просвещённый и хорошо наслушанный любитель, который не только понимает, какую сложную вокальную работу делает Диана Анкудинова, но и может сравнивать это с тем, что слышал от других популярных артистов. Вообще странно, что посмотрев тысячу таких реакций, я впервые услышал эту фразу: "ну и как, чёрт возьми, на это реагировать?" Этот человек привык слушать музыку и уже выработал для себя некие алгоритмы реагирования на самую разную музыку, но сейчас он в явном замешательстве - возможно, впервые в жизни. Не сомневаюсь, что многие из нас смотрят подобные реакции в том числе, и затем, чтобы увидеть в очередной раз такое замешательство. That was an Experience! The music director did a brilliant job selecting this arrangement. The arrangement is Tommee Proffitt's dark version, in F minor harmonic. Evis's is in D major. The reflection foreshadows what is to come in this version, so smart. Diana's vocals are beyond comparison. Guess what she is even better now at 20yrs old than at 18yrs old here. Good luck.

She is another very interesting story that you will discover. Полифоничность - это мутный вопрос. Сама Диана о полифоничности своего голоса *не заявляла!* То, что вы считаете "полифоничностью" у Дианы проявлялось как искажение чистого тона (хрип или "голос робота"). На её хрипоту обратила внимание вокальный продюсер (коучер) проекта "Ты Супер!" и посоветовала обратиться к ларингологу. Врач после осмотра голосовых связок Дианы отметила наличие "узелков" на связках, которые придавали голосу хрип (искажения, "полифоничность"), назначила лечение и рекомендовала какое-то время не петь! (Эта инфа из видео на Ютубе, сейчас его не нашел...) С такими проблемами Диана *завалила прослушивание* в Гнесенке ("Связки немного шалили..." - цитата Дианы)! Затем Диана попала в вокальный класс Ольги Донской, которая научила её методике развития (укрепления) голоса без риска для здоровья. Диана с благодарностью вспоминает уроки О.Донской, результат которых мы все наблюдаем по сей день. The "Queen of Goosebumps" has struck again ;) Mesmerizing, bewitching, magical, trully astonishing. She can channel enormous energies, grab our attention and take us to her world. It's good to see how talent shines when given opportunity in professional enviroment. She already trained her voice even further at the Russian Institute of Theatre Arts (GITIS) in Moscow where she studies, yet she is still super young (20, 18 in this show), and personal experience cannot be exchanged with the very much always needed learning, doing drills after drills after drills (Like Dimash Kudaibergen). Some details of this performance: In each round, the participants will be offered nine topics: for example, one will perform a folk song, the second - a song by a Grammy award winner, the third - a rock hit , etc. " The nine categories are: "People's Hit", "Song of the End of the 20th Century", "Soviet Song", "Hit from Every Iron", "Song of Your Choice", "New Music", "Song from a Movie or Cartoon", "Rock Hit" and "Songs of the Grammy Award Winners and Laureates". This song in this first show is for the last category "Songs of the Grammy Award Winners and Laureates". So in this way it is good she can experience so many cool performances first hand, live, inspired, and also singing 9 songs from different genres will be challenging but rewarding in the long term. This perfomance was from the ShowMaskGoon: a TV show on Russian NTV channel where the best/winners of 3 earlier music shows (The Mask, You are Super, Superstar), 9 singers perform 9 songs of 9 categories over the 9 shows/Editions, and vote/judge each other at every Edition's end. Yes she did have a speech impediment and it wasn't only one her childhood till the age of 3 or 4 was very hard they discovered her speech impediments at the age of 4 and a half years sending her to speech pathologists who suggested singing lessons and at the age of 5 they discovered her voice is unique and one of a kind and the rest is history as they say

Well, you made some very deep and pertinent observations, all unknowing. Yes, An entirely unique and well trained voice.{ A rare Contralto } Yes, Gorgeous! Yes: A special precious and tender soul. { The world is damn lucky to have her } Yes, A Speech Impediment. { But, not yours - hers.} As a child she had a trauma induced speech impediment and was sent, from the orphanage she was in, to a speech therapist to try to get her to speak. It was this therapist, who gave her music therapy, and who discovered her singing voice as well as her speaking one, encouraging further development with a voice coach. What a gift. And her adoptive family then found her a likewise gifted voice teacher. # Diana, ( today 20 years old) has won many song competitions and continues to explore broadly artistically. She released her first self produced Album: { her initials } "D.A" containing 9 of her Original Songs, in December 2021. Definitely a career to watch!
