Here are three reasons why Diana doesn't sound human. First, she is a dramatic contralto, which is the absolute rarest type of female voice. It allows her to sing very dramatic/powerful, very (I mean VERY) deep, very dark, very rich. Second, she has a spectacular larynx. She's been called the vocal Eighth Wonder of the World. Third, she is polyphonic, which means she can produce multiple harmonics within her voice at the same time. This is what allows her to sound like two people at once. (more below) When you add all that up you basically get a person who creates her own auto-tune. She doesn't need electronic auto-tune. She IS her own auto-tune. And the effect when you hear her is totally mind-blowing. It's like she's singing right through you, like a sword straight into your soul. Literally NOBODY else on the planet has a voice like hers. While I like and appreciate reaction videos, which cover mostly the technicalities of vocals (grateful for the education they provide), deep down I prefer those, where the reactor connects with the song in an esthetic, emotional, perhaps spiritual experience. Welcome! Who is Diana Ankudinova? Diana was born in May 2003 in the Far East of Russia. (Height: 1,70 m/ 5,7” ) She didn't have a happy start in life. The woman who gave birth to her had many pregnancies, only Diana survived ... and she abused the child and tried to drown it. One day this 3 year old child was found at a bus stop with a broken collarbone and taken to an orphanage. There she finally found love ... by Irina Ponik, a massage therapist who treated the children from the children's home. Diana came to a poor but loving family when she was 5 years old. Diana spoke badly, cried a lot and was still very scared, but she could all sing songs from cartoons. A doctor recommended singing lessons. And so, the singing teacher Elena Kazantseva discovered Diana's talent. And all started … Diana has something primal, mystical, but also sensitive and sensual in her voice and she lives her songs. Diana is a dramatic contralto, the rarest and lowest female voice type (her range C3-D6). Diana's voice also sometimes has a polyphonic undertone. You hear: Her voice sounds an octave below the singing voice. (But not everyone can hear that.) Diana also has a perfect pitch and her sense of rhythm was exceptional even as a little girl. Diana impressed with her talent in over 50 national and international competitions. In 2018 and 2019 Diana entered a unique competition and won twice. Согласен, Диана потрясла жителей всего Мира!. Люди везде испытывают похожие чуства! Это невероятно . Похоже в наш мир пришел гений. Я был на ее концерте в СПб. I really enjoyed your reaction to Diana. You identified Diana‘s voice type correctly she is a contralto but she has the ability to sing with polyphonic overtones which is what gives her Voice a one of a kind sound. Это первое выступление Дианы в 18 лет в прошлогоднем осеннем конкурсе равноценных российских вокалистов на канале НТВ. В этой телепередаче у нее 9 песен из разных музыкальных жанров! В 14-15 лет она принимала участие в другом проекте НТВ для детей с трудной судьбой, где у нее тоже несколько вокально-хужожественных спектаклей, которые за последние 4 года стали легендой Ютюба. У нее почти нет клипов, у нее пока нет продюсера, но уже есть несколько концентных видео, в основном, частной или любительской видеосъемки. Она не шоу-дива, она САМОРОДОК, а не чей-то срежиссированный проект.
