Whoa, super advanced vikings! Where did they get cotton from? Also why on earth would you make an entirely new pair rather than repairing the stitching?

Patterns can be found on the internet - just try. Leather is a cow/goat vegetable tanned one.

what leather is needed? I have two kinds at home, one is really hard and need to be in water to be able to be shaped, then it stays that way, then I have real soft leather, will any of those work?

Why on earth would you want dark age turnshoes in Vietnam? They aren't good for wearing which is why we stopped using them 1,000+ years ago.

Hey Superboobaloo! Are you the man in the video? If so I had some questions for you. I am a member of a group you may know called the Adrian Empire. I was wondering how well shoes like these provide ankle support? How thick would I need leather to be to be effective? Thanks
