i like the video man! the coil jig is much easier to use! the little hole is where you feed the wire, and the black cap helps keep the coil tight. when you pull it off the poker, you can pull it apart to space it and it'll be much more uniform without as much work :)

Do you need to "cook" the coil like you do with Kanthal, like getting it glowing orange, and then pinching it together until it's glowing evenly?

@@KittanBachika do you need to space out the wraps or can you just wrap it tight, whack it in and go for it? I’ve been making titanium coils for a few years now but it’s getting really hard to find titanium wire so I want to try stainless steel and see how I go with it Aluminium coils used to make me feel sick and I only tried a pre made SS coil once and I’m honestly not sure if it made me feel sick or if I was just anxious because I know I don’t get along well with nickel. Anyway, do I need to do anything differently to how I was making my titanium coils or is it the same?
