Viking weave - bracelets and necklace

I was making my wife a birthday present so thought I'd video some bits to help anyone who fancied a go. When I started learning this I found this video:

This wire weaving, often called a viking weave, has been used for jewellery and decoration for over a thousand years and is still quite eye catching!

Copper wire can be had all over the places, including stripping solid core electrical wire. For the weave in the video and photos I used coated copper from amazon:

superglue won't hold very long. A shame to lose the bracelet. Just get some cone ends, wire the ends of the bracelet and thread a wire through, bend it into a loop and attach the clasp
