Thank you Viking, for introducing me to Amaranthe. I like their vocals and their intertwining of musical genres. Their Gothic/ vampire theme is intriguing. Thanks for a great reaction Sköl

ah I love how you stumbled across them and Damnation Flame of all the tracks, this one is surely one of their most catchy ones yet, they just keep getting better. That was also the first song with their new growler btw, I think that constellation is rly fucking good! They have a TON of good music, been listening to them since 2012 I believe is when Hunger came out. Would be cool to see some more reactions of Amaranthe, cause I think youll quite love them if you dig the whole trivocal catchy chorus stuff. A really good one of them is also "Viral", which is a song about the entire covid debacle and how their tours have been cancelled etc. Awesome reaction man!

I wasn't into metal for the majority of my life, so up until 2021 I hadn't heard anything from, or about Amaranthe at all. First contact came through drummer Morten and his second band/ side project The Dark Side Of The Moon. TDSOTM is a symphonic metal supergroup, consisting of (besides Morten): his then girlfriend, now wife, vocalist Melissa Bonny (main band Ad Infinitum), guitarist Hans Platz (Feuerschwanz), and harpist Jenny Diehl (usually one of Feuerschwanz' dancers/ stage & video performers). As of now, Amaranthe is the metal band with the most albums on my shelf, well head to head with Feuerschwanz.

Yes, they are gorgeous indeed. Saw them live tonight in a festival and it was glorious to say the least. Three absolutely perfect voices, top noch musicians, and the visually amazing head banging. Gorgeous is exactly the right word for what I just witnessed. It was one of the top gigs I've seen this summer, and it's this year's 5th music festival for me, so I've seen a few big ones already.

Welcome to the world of Amaranthe!🤘 Another favourite band of mine. They are pure perfection. I have several of their songs on my playlists. My first impression of them was on Sabaton's Great Tour in 2020. Amaranthe was opening band along with Apocalyptica. My, my, what an evening that was!! 🤘 This was a good start. You can pick anything from their catalogue. I would highly recommend "Boom!1", "365" and "Digital world". Official music videos of course.

Gothic metal. I didn't know there is such a thing. You have expanded my knowledge base.
@corinna007Ай бұрын
@@LOL-Can Gothic metal has been around for a long time. Type O Negative would be an example. My personal favourite is Charon, from Finland. Unfortunately they haven't been together for a long time. Amaranthe is much more dance / techno than typical Gothic metal. They're still great, though.

I have been listening to Amaranthe since 2013, they have great videos, and i just love thier songs i would recomend The Nexus, Viral, PVP (made as the official song for the swedish national e-sports team) or Army of the Night (Powerwolf cover) Fun fact all Amaranthe's albums are produced by Jakob Hansen (of Hansen Studios), he is also the main producer for Volbeat, and has done engineering, mixing and mastering for a plethora of metalbands, such as Unleash the Archers, Epica, Dynazty (other band of Amaranthe clean singer Nils Molin), Delain, Evergrey, U.D.O., Ad Infinitum, The dark side of the Moon (Melissa and Morten live very close to the studio), Fleshgod Apocalypse, Kamelot, Powerwolf and many more. Speaking of Powerwolf for someone who professes to love the Gothic themes your channel shows a concerning lack of Powerwolf songs. Like Sabaton gets their inspiration from war stories, Powerwolf get their inspiration from the Chatolic church and eastern European werewolf and vampire legends, some of their songs are based actual happenings, while most are loosely based on the previous mentioned themes. I would recomend "1589" (inspired by a person who was executed for being a werewolf), Killers with the cross (vampire killers), Demons are a girls best friend (that one is self-explanatory), Resurrection by Erection (title says it all, only lyric video 😞), Sanctified With Dynamite (title says it, again no offical videos but great official live videos) Army of the Night (Amaranthe has made a cover of this one), Amen and Attack (or as the the meme says A banana tank, Feuerswanz has made a cover of this one). For three of their albums there is a bonus album of either covers (2 albums) or versions featuring lead singers from other bands (1 album).

You really should go for more Amarante. They are there for years with some lineup changes. And they are not a gothic band, just this song. Their music is very ... diverse and amazing. The female vocalist is well known, did perform also in duets and featues.

Thanks for the reaction to my favorite band. But they are not much into the gothic theme, it was just the idea to introduce their new growler (who was coming out of the coffin). I would recommend Archangel, Outer Dimensions, The Catalyst or Digital World to react to

Yep, that sounded like Amaranthe. They don't have a vampire theme however so don't expect more of that :) I didn't even know Wilhelmsson left the band. I honestly didn't notice they had a new singer but that's how much I care about harsh vocals, it's all same to me.
