My dad’s favorite player of that Vikings era. All Vikings greats respect Jared. Dale Hackbart, a member of Purple People Eaters defense, and my friend, raved about Jared when he first arrived in Minnesota, and Jared was the guy we celebrated with in our living rooms during his sack celebrations. And we loved his hunting videos, too. Jared is an all-time fan favorite! Congrats!

1. Hell ya! It's about freakin' time! Congrats to Jared Allen! (hilarious dig at Donashell too!...also, if Jared Allen gets to celebrate his HOF induction in Green Bay...lol) 2. Finally, I really wish most stats, like those sack stats, were ranked using "per game" rations ("sacks per game", "Yards passing per game", etc. This goes a long way towards dealing with the fact that NFL seasons has gone from 14 games long, to 16 games long, to 17 games...and soon will be 18 games long.

Strahan's sack record is fraudulent anyway. Earlier in the season against the Cowboys he was given credit for a sack on a play where the qb got passed the line of scrimmage. So, the thing with him and Favre doesn't even matter.
