O’Neil sure had praise for Darnald and that’s really nice to hear! Aaron Jones sure has wheels to run the field and for a small guy durability is good too.

Man, did you hear the way everyone just talks about Sam one after the other after the other let me, I’ll tell you something about Sam i’m a USC alumni. I’m not claiming I know Sam really well and I don’t but I’m a USC alumni donor and so at events where you’re cutting checks and you’re meeting the football team I just got to chat with him a little bit, like all the other alumni do. This guy is the real deal man. He is such a down-to-earth, such a humble kid and now he’s a full grown man and a VERY GOOD QG in the NFL. Sam was deal a bad card going to the New York Jets when he was drafted, horrible coaching, and no personal around him. I want him to prove to everybody that he’s not the guy that everyone has given him shit about. This is a very smart man and a very smart quarterback with a high football IG. I’m so happy for his success this year. And to think that Minnesota, which has now become my favorite team because of Sam, has to make a decision between Sam assuming he really takes him to the playoffs at a high-level and the first round draft pick from last year. If longtime Viking fans are reading this, let me know what your thoughts are. I’m curious if Sam takes him into a high level through the playoffs, let’s pretend that he takes them to the Super Bowl, what are you do the following year since he’s a free agent? What would be hard-core Vikings fan that’s been a fan for years want the team to do?

You're in the twilight zone. It's nice that you feel kinship with Darnold. No one argues that he's a good person, but what he is on the field is slow to process. Shaky. Has happy feet. Has limited vision of the field. Panics with pressure, and rolls out only to throw the ball away constantly rather than to throw on the run to an actual receiver. He is not ball secure, and he chokes in the red zone. Worship away. Mahomes, Hurts, Jackson, Allen... those are quarterbacks. Do you not see the difference?

I believe in Sam. I haven't liked most of our quarterbacks. Sam has a long view and very steady. If JJ can come back, I could see both playing and complimenting each other. We've had plenty of "diva" QB's like cousins. Nice to have a steady at the helm. Fan since birth, 61 years.

😮 Debsmith is another Packer troll that relies on his lady to pay the bills, hence the username. To answer your question, should Darnold take us to the big dance, he would be welcomed back as our starter next year. Another year "riding the pines" won't hurt JJM and Darnold is certainly a willing mentor. Been bleeding purple since 1966.

@ I tell you because I know him a little, I’ve been loving watching purple football and Vikings football this season;it’s been so much fun. I think, I may need to start buying a hat and make the Vikings my official team lol. Since my official team for 40 years has been…. are you ready for this? The Jets 😂 🤮 😂
@deanladue53673 күн бұрын
Unfortunately the market in the league determines what a QBs value is when they become a free agent based on their stats. As it stands right now, Darnold has 21 TDs, thrown for 2,717 yds, and has a 101.7 QBR so far and he's on pace for over 30 TDs. Those kind of numbers usually dictate a multi year contract that carries a ton of guaranteed money. Something that the Vikings will have to figure out when the off season hits.

Why do our players have to defend Sam Darnold to our local media after every single game? The players are being polite but they must be as sick of doing this as we are of hearing it.
@loweschannel1723 күн бұрын
Because he is good for the amount of vikings Pay!! They pay him 10 mil while cousin pay a lot millions but he not like Sam so stop arguing!!
@puppethound3 күн бұрын
Just throw it, they are all open and they all can catch in traffic. Sam has the easiest job on the team, all he needs to do is not revert to his old self. Imagine having JJ, Addision and Hock. When your reserves are Speedy and Powell, this core is very talented.

Move over Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison is clearly the best WR for The Vikings!

If they're going to double and bracket Jefferson all game as teams have been doing lately, Addison will tear up whatever secondary he's facing.

He is a solid WR2 but he has made some aggregious drops and mistakes on route running. He is a beast because Jets is double teamed. Without Jets taking those safeties and DBs attention, I don't think Addison is as flashy.

They are the perfect compliment to each other. Once teams realize we can beat them with other players, JJ will be open more. Too much talent for teams to cover all of our play makers.
