Loved the show and like others have binge watched the series already. Will there be further series? As for the historical accuracy, it's a TV show, enjoy it for what it is. I certainly did.

Thanks! Season 2 and 3 have been confirmed by Netflix!

You were fantastic Christopher Norse!! I loved it!! I already binge watched first day it came out.. and just started my second round. Some people are talking about, if the children's rhyme, London Bridges falling down. Came from that event. If the Vikings actually took it down?
@NorseReign2 жыл бұрын
A Viking attack by Olaf Haraldson MIGHT have been the origin of the rhyme, yes. But, it's not historically confirmed that this actually happened.
@Aremeriel2 жыл бұрын
Christopher is absolutely correct. Heimskringla claims Olaf Haraldsson brought the bridge down. However, there's no mention of it in the Anglo-Saxon chronicles. Heimskringla claims Olaf was on the side of Æthelred while other sources claim he fought for the Danes.

Had to pause the show several times to confirm. That's the guy from Norse Reign. Great work. My issue with these show's, when using historical names, is that they make it look like a historical show. Might as well make up all the names. I just feel like they are butchering Scandinavian history.
@NorseReign2 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I see your point. It does get confusing when they mix history and fiction.

Thanks for this Christopher, wow you are a man of many talents and I am glad that you got to work on the show and enjoyed it. Unfortunately the mashing of history and terrible clothes made watching the film a bad experience . The fight scenes and action is second to none but ....I know its just an action movie and I shouldn't take it seriously but I believe a lot of kids will take it as real history and that is so wrong. Thanks for Norse Reign and keep up the good work.

Thanks! On one side I LOVE working on this show. It was one on my goals of 2020 to be a part of this production, not gonna lie! On the other side, I feel somewhat obliged to contribute with some good information about the Vikings, which is one of the reasons I made Norse Reign!

Where did u get the sparring weapons? Are those synthetic for sparring like HEMA?

Sooooooo.... I'm going to start off with i love your character and i've followed you for a while eventhough my dumbass never realized i didn't subscribe so i just did.... SECONDLY ....In season 2 how the hell are you in 2 different places at the same time? You were with Queen Emma in London giving a dental exam and an impromptu eye exam but you were ALSO in Kattegat with King Forkbeard on your way to fight with CanutE. Its all in the first episode of the second season sooooooooooo...... i need an explanation as to why i'm the only one who noticed this, and is Agnarr a time traveling viking dentist/eye sugeon teleporter?

I have a question about the trunk scene: was it a prop or a real trunk?
@NorseReign Жыл бұрын
If we are thinking about the same scene, then yes - that was a real heavy ass trunk!
