Vikings had less armor and weaker weapons, but had sheer ferocity on the battlefield relying on their strength, they practically lived for war...however...Knights had full body armor, stronger weapons, calvary, and better war tactics, and practiced and honed their skills each day.

I like this! You showed historical accuracy in my opinion, the knights’ shields are more protective than viking shields, and also the knights had calvary, making the Vikings have a disadvantage due to the fast and mobile attacks by heavy calvary.

@@2pacmg42 Yeah, they were pretty fearless too because of their strong believe in Valhalla which gave them a incredible andvantage. They had big shields with center grips which made them pretty agile and the elite troops also had the famous Ulfberht sword which was the best sword in their time because of its durability, it was hard enough to endure fatal strikes but also not likely to be brittle. Many Vikings were just settlers and farmers but when it comes to their army then they were way superior. But with the time the Vikings became more and more of settlers and famers until they went "extinct" if you can call it that way. I'd like to know what it'll be like if they continued clashing with Knights and others. I'm sure they would still be cery well known. And what if the Norse Gods where the one ruling our religion now. 🤔

Yes. The short answer is yes. Chances are the Vikings used axes, Hammers, and NOT swords. Both of these had/have bludgeoning capabilities

I would say, in each of these particular engagements, the knights would mop the floor with the Vikings, the main reason is because of armor. Yes, Viking axes could damage the armor of the knights, but knights where professional warriors, they know how to face against Viking weapons, and would not stand there waiting to get hit. What most of us modern people fail to realize is how much armor changes everything, that's why all later medieval warriors including Norwegian/Scandinavian/Danish knights later developed similar armor to the rest of European knights, because it worked better. In short, these knights would cut these particular Vikings to pieces 9/10.

Haha knights had steel plated armor which spears cannot penetrate . Don’t forget about that next time. Knights made Vikings obsolete . Completely erased them from the history books and then made Denmark Catholic :D
