Thank you Vikings! I'll always be a fan. It just seemed to me the last two weeks of this season there was no emotion, excitement and the team did not play loose. Almost like the Detroit game took something out of them. With all of the free agents, who knows what we will look like next season. This season was so fun to watch.

@timpauley9254 Well in 98 we had a coach that admitted he didn't know how many time outs he had left.. I'm assuming as far as the 12 team you mean the 09 team with Farve.? But ya, the Vikings went into a scenario (kinda like this time) were the league had a narrative and REALLY wanted to saints to upset. So they allowed them to beat the living crap out of Farve, AP and Rice and then Farve being Farve threw a back breaker. But, it'll happen. If ya get discouraged, just look at Bills fans

@@luken.1109 Yes, 09, have always had 12 in my memory. I mean I've heard the Aints theory, but they turned it over five times, the last being the soul crusher. And then lost by a FG. Timeouts or not, Anderson misses a sure fire FG. THOSE two loses are more soul crushing than any after. They have a culture of losing that I don't understand. The Bills dropped four in a row, MIN has dropped four also (just not in a row). I'd still argue that MIN is the bigger choke artist and more snake bitten. When the Lions blew the 17 point lead against the 49ers I literally said "they just took a page outta Minnesotas playbook." And if MIN did get to a SB I could see them blowing it worse than the Falcons did to the Pats.

The last two games can be solely put on the coach and the o line can share some of the blame with him, never changing up the game plan and making adjustments is solely on the coach, was Darnold great? No, but who is when they are getting pressured left and right, open up some short quick passing plays, and not just wide receiver screens which are the easiest to deefend

I don't understand what happened. Darnold was throwing accurate passes all season long and stepping up in the pocket so he didn't get sacked and the final 2 games he stopped doing all that.

Coaches adjust in the nfl, lions and rams have one of the best coaching staffs. Just think, these coaches are watching hours of film and adjusting accordingly. Koc on the other hand has an ego like no other. They went into LA with the same gameplan as Detroit.

@@thisguy9993 I was fairly convinced the season was lost when Christian Darrisaw went down, but they just kept winning without him. With him healthy, and maybe a couple upgrades at guard and center (no offense to the current guys), who knows what they'll accomplish next year

Been a Viking's fan since 1970. Every friggin season they seem to do this. Start out strong, draw us in and pull the rug out from under us. All the greats; Fran, Randys Moss & Cunningham, John Randall and they couldn't pull it off at some point? It takes more than a good QB, it looks like SD threw the games as much as choked. Same with the line letting the rushers through to sack him. ABSOLUTELY PITIFUL!!!!!! Can't even stand to watch Grandiose, "look how good we were" highlights of what could have been THE SEASON. It wasn't the refs bad calls, it wasn't one individual, it was all of them, the team, the coach, the refs, the owners and even the fans for putting up with this shit for so long.

Everyone is so angry and bitter but I enjoyed the season. I thought they’d win 8 games AT MOST. They won 14 and showed signs of brilliance. Maybe next year JJ is the answer they need, maybe some improvements at O Line, running back and secondary and they will make it to the championship round lol.

Keep Sam. I'd rather keep a 14-3 season QB with a quick pass problem you can fix than replace him with a QB that might have a problem you've yet to encounter. Sam Darnold has ONE problem. The quick pass play. Fix that one thing instead of ripping a 14-3 team apart. There's no player loyalty in the NFL. Guy leads the team to a 14-3 season, loses one playoff game and it's like he never did anything for you. Sam Darnold only has one problem -- the quick pass play --- and a lot of pluses. Don't throw out all the pluses for ONE problem. Fix the ONE problem and keep all the pluses.

I don’t care how boring it is every team out there that is in the championship games as meat and potatoes in the running back meet the potatoes in the offensive line meet the potatoes the defensive line Jesus Christ freaking running back that will not fumble or an offensive line guy that will not fumble can get 4 yards when you just feel like doing it for fun not even when you need it… Duh Kevan I love Finesse… But it’s a gamble meet the potatoes or not it’s boring, but it wins… Move to another team. If you won’t wake up I think you need to be the offensive coordinator or the defensive coordinator.
