So everyone wants you to scrap this base but don't. Leave it for the nuke bunker and live there mainly and 100% focus on the mini bikes. Then after you get the bikes repair this base and keep it as a backup. It'll be a good run away spot if the hordes run over the bunker or you're just running around and need a nice place to hide. Also leave a few supplies like meds food and a weapon or two. Love the series keep up the great work

Vikk replace the chests by storages, you can craft them with nails (you can craft them in the forge) and wood check it out, you can craft food, building, explosives, health, weapons and ammo storages.

I saw a few people to get a better understanding of things in the game: plz share to VIK 1. forges whn active (heat signature) spawns screamer zombies in tht area hence build forges away from bed or away from activity base. 2. both of u should always craft stone axes to increase crafting skills. 3. multiple forges are needed for the end game because guys cement/concrete is a massive chore so 1/2 forges wont suffice. 4. explore... better towns out there with franchises to loot that way u have better and upgraded weapons/tools 5. quality joe glitch. save points and max it in one go once max at 3 it wont go away and every item u find has 100 quality more (example) u find a 200 fireaxe without joe but with max joe tht same axe would be found at 300. 6. loot loot loot. and 1/2 days before horde days fortify base rest is looting and exploring. 7. if ur in a town and full in inventory and u still have more places to loot build a wood chest in the middle or edge of town (make a special mark for it on map) store things in it and keep looting that way in the end u take back imp things and comeback later for the rest left behind. 8. tools low quality or guns place them in forges to melt u get a better return for them to melt in forge than to scrap them. hope this helps. good luck :)

1. So who was right about the base? Wood and scrap iron are not enough. Find a new base or spend more time improving this one. Remember - you have conrete now! Put bars on the edges to stop spider zombies climbing to your base. Dig deeper trenches. Much deeper, deep enough so zombies cannot go out of them. 2. Don't drink just water. Goldenrod tea will give you health and stamina shot. Drink coffee! You were cold, you needed stamina and you drank beer even though cofee gives more stamina for much longer but it also warms you up. 3. The more stamina you have - the more damage you're doing. 4. Use painkillers to heal when you're not bleeding. You have loads of them and they give you 30 health. 5. Make a lot of shotgun ammo. That's why you need to collect all paper you find. 6. Zombies cannot destroy your storage chests.

Vikk spend all of next episode either forging the base or working on a new one. The best suggestion for now may be to dig a underneath base using a ladder system deep enough so that if Zombies tried to come, they'd die from fall damage. Also, acknowledge that there are places called bunkers. If you ever come across one (very hard to find but does exist) make sure to reinforce it and move in cos it is the safest place you could be in the game.

Vikk just a tip- make small wood spikes (not log spikes, normal spikes) and just put them on the ground in front of your log spikes. They break easier but they do much more damage and are way less expensive.

I definitely think you should replace the tent parts of the base with cement. A nice cement ring around the inner wall, solid roof and some sort of cement archer-spot. I wonder if maybe you could put barbed wire up a little higher on the walls to prevent spider monkeys? Because perhaps they'd hit the wire and stop climbing/get stuck in it.

Vikk, I'm not sure about this but I think the sledgehammer has less reach than your club, plus it is a lot slower to swing. Even though it has a higher entity damage rate, you should definitely think about using a different weapon, because it causes you to waste a lot of bandages and med-kits.

vikk heres a good tip the game knows u and woof stay at that location most of your playing time so.they.know its ur.base.and now.each seventh day.it.will get harder like for example make temporary bases while exploring and theyll.get.confused so there wont be such a horde

The next horde will have cops and ferals. :D Since you likely can't afford and I don't know if you have concrete book, might I suggest you get a lot of small stones and clay and make cobblestone walls. FYI zombies get a 5x damage modifier on wood walls, a feral can break a block in a half dozen swings or so.

Next 7th day horde will include cops and feral walkers. Tons of hp, and the cops have a ranged attack that does mad damage to blocks. Keep your distance, if u get too close, they will charge at you and kamikaze. Spiderzombies (fast crawlerd that also climb walls) can, according to the 7dtd wiki, spawn hords just like the screamers. They make a different kind of scream than the actual screamers.

Vik you should ditch that sledge hammer since it takes ages to swing, has a super close hitting distance, and only does real damage if you hit them in the head (you can't see they're heads at night) you should get a machete or even that hunting knife Bc they swing so much faster and have a farther hitting distance and you don't need to hit them in the head
