FABULOUS show! each piece more mind blowing than the next - the incorporation of bows was so next level - even the sleeves turned into bows. loved the late 80's hair and makeup - even on the doll!

It's not supposed to be pretty. These are conceptual artists who are not concerned about cute.... Other designers will come and be inspired by these works,then simplify them for commercial purposes.. Your Armani and the likes.

I like the femininity in the bow and ruffle details. It feels a little nod to the big 80s with puffed sleeves. I wonder if it will trickle down to more shoulder padding being reintroduced? Every possible take on a reimagined beige trench was my impression with the outer layer. Very pinky makeup, heavy on eye shadows and blush. The doll was an interesting guest 🤭

VnR have been doing this longer...I didn't see any element of Daniel Roseberry... You can check their past collections.. maybe Daniel was inspired by them while he was still working for Thom Browne.
