Love your voice and cadence! Can’t wait to see what you keep doing with your channel. :) -Opened my eyes to what Singed was really saying- “the mutation must survive” really is just- your goals will sacrifice your ‘love and legacy’ and more and more of you for progress. The entire ‘they will despise you’ conversation makes more sense too. You may sacrifice your humanity, your body, your relationships- but your goal is what matters. According to Singed anyway ha. - I did read that Skye isn’t really Skye? I do think she represents Viktor’s humanity and guilt. She is an idealized version of herself, oddly. Hair and image resembled more of her kid self. But, I also think she is the hexcore, manipulating Viktor. Viktor is still strong willed, loving, and kind. She leads him in a kind way to what the hexcore wants (or whatever the hexcore wants. It just seems like a hungry entity imho ha) and Viktor, though changed, has not given up his drive and dream. He still wants people to choose the right thing. He, though different, still dreams of helping people. -Viktor is literally transplanting people’s worst qualities. He does this instantly via the hive mind aspect of the Arcane. To me, it’s very much reminds me of someone who has tapped into a collective consciousness (I think like… a mushroom trip?) but in a more sinister way. The people in the commune do not react like normal people do when Jayce threatens them. Not even Viktor reacts normally. They don’t fight. They don’t run. They are calm. Docile. No conflict. But nothing can really touch these people either. They have no fear, guilt, greed. They are, well, perfect. And nothing really makes them individualistic. - as you said. You can’t really have happiness, depth, love, without the suffering, strife, and conflict of emotions (i. e., your humanity. Both light and dark. ). How far you’re willing to do good- also mirrors your capacity to do evil things. This is because of strong emotions that can oscillate in both directions. And Viktor’s solution is something directly in the middle. A dreamless solitude. Where there are no more equations to be solved. No more humanity to… well actually live. - I love that the hexcore and the arcane aren’t necessarily evil. The hexcore was corrupted by Viktor’s blood, and his wants and desires, and his capacity for progress. And it took his goals- and put them on steroids. -Ekko uses the anomaly too, but he doesn’t take things too far. Symbolically, it’s interesting how it’s Ekko’s philosophy vs. Viktor’s in some aspects. Ekko chose to stay in this imperfect world, sacrificing his own happiness. Sure the world sucks, but he chooses to suffer in it. Viktor wants to end suffering, surpass it. No matter the cost. -and… last thought. I wondered for a long time why Mage Viktor let Jayce suffer like he did in the alternate dark souls-Esque timeline. I think… truly, Mage Viktor needed Jayce to understand where Viktor was coming from. How Viktor has suffered. And why Viktor is doing what he is doing. (Claws himself from Zaun to Pilt over. Disabled. Sick. Etc. ). He wants Jayce to understand completely, but also still choose suffering and humanity over perfect glorious evolution. Herald Viktor really thought Jayce would understand. And when he blew his chest open and then rejected him again in the councilors room, he realized… humans are too emotional to know what they want. Even my best friend can’t see that. (In his mind.) Mage Viktor + Jayce had to show him otherwise. And Ekko’s anomaly bought the time needed to make it happen. Sorry for essay! I wrote my thoughts out after watching your video. And appreciate taking your audience through your thought process with Viktor. Such a beautiful show. Thank you for your work to elucidate it!

@@UmamiNoodle @UmamiNoodle Wow thats quite the essay indeed. Thanks for the supp btw. Some of the stuff is right on the nail , so i will only answer to the things i dont totally agree. In relation to skye, before i saw act 3 i was thinking like u do, but after that i understood that she wasnt the hexcore. She was the manifestation of his remanining humanity because in the moment he evolves with shimmer with Singed she disapears, similar to the process WW goes trough with Vander in his mind , every part of yourr past GOES away. U can make the argument that the hexcore was manipulating him with skye but when he evolves the hexcore is still there and it sudenly stops using skye? I think it never was skye in the first place due to only this reason. Also the hexcore isnt evil but Im pretty sure the Arcane is since the creator said it had some connection to the void, and their goal is to consume everything so thats pretty much logical. Its hard to judge Viktor because he needed to used the hexcore on himself to survive and he becomes corrupted due to that, but Rkko didnt had to use on him so the choice for him is easier when he does the choices in the series when compared to Viktor that his mind is already gone and the only thought in his mind his the glorius evolution. Overall the rest i agree with u, pretty well argumented as well.

he wasn't injected with shimer when Sky died
@lfr1149 күн бұрын
and he wasn't able to destroy the hexcore cause it controlled him... but it's up to interpretation

but i really enjoyed this comprehension ,because it was about Viktor as a independent self sufficient character and not about Jauvik (^-^)

Its a bit strange because when he fully transmutates after the accident, jayce dont use shimmer on viktor and he still goes trough the entire process without no problems. Probably the idea in this is that you need shimmer to survive the first transmutation or else u get consumed by the hexcore. Thats why sky was consumed and viktor not. But ure right at the second mutation that viktor tries and hes stop by skye he didnt got any shimmer left.

@@lfr114 That´s up to interpretation because im still not sure if he is being controlled by the Hexcore, or if its viktor that is controlling the core and that brings up new ways of the arcane being sentient. But it is a possibility yes.
