Really underrated, imagine if Buster did a remaster of this gem. The drums at 1:01 and 1:23 are just eargasmic even at a low quality audio, imagine in a newer version. Thall

It’s 2019 and we still use the word “djent,” but not for Vildhjarta. Oh, no... See, for Vildhjarta, we TH0LLLLLLLL.

This comment is to @lokust9ine Djent is slang for rent in the north east of the West Midlands (England). It comes from the mis pronunciation of rent by the early French immigrants who settled in the area in the late 1800's. It has since become common place especially with the advance or modern slang and ever changing vernacular of the youth of England. "I is well late with djent." "You owes us djent mate."

@lokust9ine It was indeed from Meshuggah, but it originated as an onomatopoeia to describe a heavily distorted power chord with an extra 5th stacked on it. For example, If you are in a drop tuning, it would be 0 on lowest string, 0 on next string, 0 on next string, and 2 on the next one.

The first two minutes of this song are like an initiation into manhood. So heavy. The build up is perfect. More like this. I will get more somehow

Don't get why you can't just love your own music and ignore others. No surprise that metal fans aren't taken seriously when they act like little kids. I love Vildhjarta. I also like deathcore, metalcore post-hardcore and some rap Bash me for it and I've proven my point.

@wadi261 SO you're telling me that classical music has no emotion? Piano compositions can be filled with emotion. Look up Desiderata by The Human Abstract or the beginning of Vela Together We Await the Storm which has a beautiful piano piece. If you honestly find it impossible to get emotion out of anything without vocals then you're not listening to the music, you're centralizing on a single peace of the music. Listening to music is listening to the whole thing, not just words

@CubanVader I did not mean that,ok so you like the song to be this way....and i dont blame you,the instrument is great but for me,well ya know....everybody got their own oppinion and i like the song with vocal even more(only this kind of genre)..if you talk about classical music,its another different story...

@xScitna You should check out the show metal evolution. Legit Nu metal is a groovy as fuck genre and is important in the evolution of metal, and is actually very closely related to this "djent" you know and love. Yes, the term Nu Metal got overused by people who shouldn't have used it, and now it is a bad word, but it shouldn't be. You shouldn't bash Slipknot either, they have made an impact on a lot of people's lives in a positive way.

why do they need 7 members???
@vidkune44637 жыл бұрын
SevenStringShredHead Why does a guitar ensemble need so many guitars? Music isn't limited. They can do pretty awesome things with 3 guitarists. I hope that doesn't come off as condescending but think about it. It's like the introduction of two guitarists. I bet nobody liked that. Bands like this are breaking the mold and introducing riffs you can't make with one or two guitarists.

@CubanVader vocal arent needed for emotion????!!!!that is so not true...!!!
