I’m glad you enjoy my playing! Thanks for your comment. I was waiting for someone to mention this. And wondering if purists would come after me with pitchforks. The answer is that while I love performing the piece as written, I have noticed that the attention span on KZbin has grown incredibly short. So I removed a lot of the repetition in this piece to see if it would increase the percentage of people watching all the way to the end of the video. I did it as an experiment. So far, the percentage of people watching all the way to the end is not great, so the experiment did not get the desired result, but it was interesting to try. And I don’t feel that the artistic integrity of the piece is compromised.
