Seeing the contrast of Bani and Sushma, this is the 2 Indias we need to acknowledge. They are not too different in nature, both are strong women with a fighting spirit. But the difference is in the environment they were raised in. Bani was blessed that she got to be herself while in another part of the same country, girls like Sushma are never even allowed to think there is life outside their homes. It's truly heartbreaking that for her the most courageous n rebellious thing yet was to just get on the bus and attend an audition, for which she is even feeling guilty.

Me living in the urban area and my prenatal having been brought in an urban area do not have the same mindset that this girl above has and I do not have the same drawbacks as this girl has and that is what makes me privileged. And I know many girls with the same privilege. My family doesn’t believe in withholding me from opportunities and thrusting me into marriage and that is what makes me privilege. I am humble enough to acknowledge it.
