Awesome video Taya. I grew up here in the USA IN a small town of 2,500 people. We call them towns here instead of villages. Sadly a lot of our small towns have died or they have lost their local hospital etc which is so sad. Thank you for this enjoyable and informative video!

My mother used to make pickles and canned fruit in the 1950's when I was a very young child. The town shows a lot of history. We used to get by on a lot less 50 years ago. I appreciate life more now after viewing your videos.

Hello Taya, I have never been to Ukraine, but I have been to your region. In 2004, I was Bulgaria to visit my schoolmate and his wife. We also went to Greece and Turkey. We stayed in an apartment in Varna on the Black Sea, which is a few hundred kilometers from Odessa. I also met their cousin Svetlana, whose mother and grandmother are from Ukraine. I pray for them and hope that they were not visiting when the war started. I hope that you and your family will remain safe until peace returns. Slava Ukraine!
