Brigitte L Jones. Fantastic hard working Vita with a great attitude. You haver the positives associated with Ukrainians who work their land till old age. Underlying fitness with strength, determination with self discipline, the basic knowledge to do gardens etc., that remains even if periods of life are spent in cities. Even when ageing and more impaired, they work at such tasks till they are done. Seen this in vlogs and personal experience from the son's (in Australia) west Ukrainian-in -laws background and those still over there.All are always busy making gardens, like the 90 yr old grandfather of my D-I-L, until he fell and died one night.There are those still in west Ukraine won't leave the land they have always lived in, regardless of Australian relatives offers to help the come out. It makes me understand you not moving elsewhere!

There's a British TV programme called gardener's world that good for advice and tips. But you're doing a fine job!.. and so much buried treasure too!..😂 Never seen a garden with so much metal in it!.. But it seems like a very peaceful sanctuary from all those air raids!.. @@ThinkUkraine Федя has mastered the art of relaxation to the point if reaching nirvana 🤣 As far as I can see, your son looks like having a suitable bodyweight for his age and height. I do worry a bit for you, all the war stress and sleep deprivation made you lose toi much weight. Have to be careful not to suffer nutritional imbalances, it's almost impossible to properly nourish your body eating so limited amounts of food. Anyway, I would call these blueberry plants trees as well. And maybe when the university semester is over, you will have more time to rest your mind and body. Congrats, you successfully dug out a ring wrench. A few more finds of that kind and you can fix your car next time yourself. Usually there is something written on the tool. Maybe it‘s still possible to determine if it‘s a soviet or a german tool. Well done, car mechanic Vita!

You encouraged me. I just went and bought things to start my spring garden. I have also built a chicken coop so I will get some baby chickens maybe tomorrow. For my garden, I will lay down straw (to retain moisture) and lay weed barrier fabric over that to keep the weeds out. I have a lot of mint, already, and a number of plants I grow all winter in my basement (artificial lighting). I bring some plants out in spring but others seem to grow better in the basement. My collards, for example. I noticed some strawberry plants on your plot. That is awesome. I bought a lot of strawberry plants (because I already see wild ones which means they will grow well here). I also got four blueberry bushes and two raspberry bushes. I was going to buy two cherry trees to plant in the front yard but they didn't have any. My front yard is a big grassy field and it could really use a couple cherry trees.
