It's so fascinating to see how the people are most comfortable sitting on the floor, they're happy and without worries. They're laid-back. It's also very affordable to live in that village, you don't have to spend a lot of money on groceries, etc. Where I live, we spend a ton of money on food and drink, rent, and so many other things. People are worried about keeping their jobs to maintain a good life.

It's called aibika in PNG. There's different variety. We don't usually cut the leaves into pieces but creamed the actual leaf with coconut cream with the other vegies - cassava, taro, yam and banana for cooking. I must say, the cooking of the aibika in the Fijian style, looks delicious. I'll have to try cooking the bele the Fijian way😊

I love lau pele aka slippery cabbage or edible sunset hibiscus. It's very nutritional and good for health purposes. There's different types as well like the red stem ones are specifically used for stir-fry cooking. They are easy to grow as well nice one Ura 🌱💚🌱 Your mum looks young 🙂

Here in the Solomons you'll find the boiled in Coconut milk version in every household. A must when we do our version of the Lovo as well(called 'Motu'), ...with coconut milk of course 😂
