Chicken curry
Ingredients:
Chicken - 1 kg
Onion - 5 nos
Garlic - 15 to 16 nos
Tomatoes - 3 nos
Green chilies - 6 nos
Ginger - 1 piece
Fennel seeds- 1 tsp
Cinnamon- 3 nos
Cardamom - 1 to 2 nos
Cloves- 3 to 4 nos
Star anise- 1 nos
Bay leaves - 2 nos
Oil - 1 tbsp
Mustard - 1 tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 tbsp
Coriander powder - 1 tbsp
Curry leaves
Salt - 3 tsp
Method :
Today we’re going to prepare chicken curry
For that first we need to wash the chicken and keep it aside
Then peel the onions , garlic , ginger and keep it in water
Then wash onions, ginger, garlic and keep it aside
Now wash tomatoes and green chillies and keep it aside
Then slice all the tomatoes and keep it aside
Now chop the onions and keep it aside
Then cut the ginger in to small pieces and keep it aside
Now put fennel seeds , cinnamon, cardamom , star anise, cloves in a grinding stone and make a paste out of it and transfer it in to a bowl and keep aside
Then make the green chilli paste in grinding stone and keep it aside
Then make paste of ginger and garlic in grinding stone and keep it aside
Now heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds
Then add ginger and garlic paste and stir
Then add green chilli paste
Now add the chopped onion and salt and then saute it
Then add red chilli powder and coriander powder mix it well
Then add sliced tomatoes , curry leaves , garam masala paste and mix well and add the bay leaves
Now add the chicken and stir well
Then add a 2 cups of water anf mix well and cook by closing the pan
Cook for 10- 15 minutes and then open and check whether the chicken is cooked or not
Remove from fire and keep it aside
Chicken curry is ready to service
