'Villagers, people I know burnt my wife as I watched claiming that she was a with'. Peter Kibaara

It's terrifying how Peter Kibaara, described how his wife was lynched by villagers on the Daily Nation.
The excerpt for the Nation reads:
“One tyre was put around her waist and the other around her neck….all along she had remained seated…I screamed when I saw a youth douse the tyres with petrol…My wife’s eyes looked very terrified and the beatings had left her very weak…I loathed society.
Mr Kibaara says that his wife was killed by villager, where they live: Kiamikoe, Kahuro Murang'a County. He says that she was killed by people he knows, people he saw with his very own eyes.
I caught up with Mr Kibaara and as we watch his story, may our hearts burn with a such a desire to demand for justice! The killers of Mama Kuria must be brought to book! #JusticeforMamaKuria

This is so painful 😢it reminds me of my late uncle who suffered the same fate after he was accused of stealing he was killed and burnt a live but mungu akawachilia mvua akapoa .....he was taken to the hospital but he died after two day due to internal breeding and the burns.....no one was arrested and the story was forgotten....But l know Kuna ultimate judge who offer justice to the innocent and that is the Mighty God

That village is waiting for calamity. God is not unjust. How could the village just listen to hearsay and even the local chief who is supposed to be there for everyone does nothing? The blood of those two women will haunt that village forever like Abel’s blood 😔!

Thanks for airing this extremely sad story. Kindly get some therapy for the whole family, especially Dad, I think it would be very helpful as they figure out how to live with the sad reality. We're praying for them!
