This movie is so much fun! I'm so glad they were able to experience Stephen Chow and his famous nonsense style of humor. Another movie from that director is Shaolin Soccer which is also a worldwide hit. I also have to recommend "Everything Everywhere All At Once". A great movie with kung fu but also a heartfelt story about family.🙏

Never forget folks - kung fu came from India. The founder was from India and came to a temple in a pine forest. The monks would meditate all the time but be weak and fall asleep. So Boddidham trained the monks in movements he had learned in India. That temple in a pine forest - was the Shaolin Temple. The martial arts of India are some of the oldest in the world.

If you go for kung fu movies, try some of Jackie Chan's end of 70s / early 80s movies; in particular Drunken Master that also features Hwang Jang-Lee and Yuen Siu-Tin. Another great movie of this era is The Young Master featuring Yuen Biao and the impressive Hwang In-Sikh. Our Villagers will most certainly love it. I would also recommend Encounters of the Spooky Kind with Sammo Hung, and Mr. Vampire with the great Ching Ying-Lam. Watch also the Prodigal Son, where Ching Ying-Lam, Sammo Hung and Yuen Biao do a fantastic job! Wheels on Meals with Jackie Chan and the champion Benny Urquidez features some impressive fight scenes.

You should take the Villagers to a Tai Chi class, Babu and Badshah can do it too, Babu can probably do the traditional Yin style, it's the one you see elderly people doing in parks at 7am. Yin style Tai Chi is "feminine", defensive and used for meditation and focus. Too much Yin energy leads to lack of motivation or initiative and could lead to depression. Yang style is "masculin", aggressive and practiced for physical combat, it's the style Patrick Swayze practiced in Road House. Too much Yang energy can lead to restlessness, anxiety, stress, and anger. Sometimes you just need to punch the air and yell "H'YAH!" from time to time too. Tai Chi Chuan style can be done in a wheelchair, it focuses on just the upper body, arms and hands, Chuan means "Fist". My aunt had practiced for years, got me doing it a few times with her. She worked at a nursing home for about 8 years, got me to volunteer from time to time, play board games, chit chat, she had regular Tai Chi classes with the residents, Yin and Chuan styles mostly, elderly people seem to have a lot of pent up anger, stress and anxiety, it was popular with them, not as popular as watching The Price Is Right though, she had to schedule classes around that morning game show.
