I work in a home studio and I just want to say that I think this is one of the best mixed songs of all time. The empty spots sound full and the full spots sound clear. Awesome stuff.

When he says there's an ocean in his body, he means it is vast, mysterious, or unknown. When he says that there is a river in my soul, he means that who he is in his hearts of hearts, it flows endless. What does a river do? --it flows into an ocean. He is saying that his soul flows endlessly outward into his body, which makes the person you see. He is also acknowledging that perhaps who you think you see as the person you see in front of you isn't really the person you think he is. That perhaps it is just the trick of light interferencing with your judgement of the truth of who you think he represents

The ocean can also symbolize the blood of Christ and the gift of life being the river. Human civilizations always started along rivers, where food was plentiful and the soil is fertile. The ocean is the body, and the currents are the electrical/chemical nerve paths.

I googled “what’s on in Leeds” and couldn’t get a ticket due to a sell out! Anyway just as we were finishing our meal a random woman walked from the other side of the restaurant (no way of knowing we were looking for tickets btw) explaining she had 2 spare tickets to “a band that where playing next door cos her son couldn’t make it! love, luck, coincidence, who gives a fuck? It was like both our birthdays at once!
