Everyone in the band was either atheist or pagan (Ville specifically has always been very open about being a proud pagan.) Besides, Ville often said he write songs hinting to 666 and other anti-religious stuff as his attempt to bring back that 80s rock and roll vibe. He referred to it as pseudo-satanism as well, saying he likes the ways it looks and sounds like a horror film! Also the symbol is a mix of a heart and a inverted pentagram, called a heartagram! Ville created it. It's meant to be similar to a Jinjiang symbol in its meaning. (Balance, life and death, light and dark, ect. ect.) And it's not connected to religion or spirituality in any way, shape or form! I hope this clears up your assumption!
