Villers-Bocage - A short cinematic World of Tanks movie

For those wondering: The credit scene is a straight up reference on the tank ambush that killed Michael Wittman A tank squadron which consisted of 4 sherman tanks, 3 regular M4s and 1 Firefly, was just waiting in an orchard overlooking an open field but then they spotted three tiger 1s in the distance, only the lone firefly can effectively engage the tiger at the sheer distance so it was pretty much alone the entire engagement and the other 3 tanks simply stayed in the cover. They waited until the 3 tiger tanks we're only around 800 yards away from them then that's when the ambush started. The firefly pulled off the cover and the gunner of the firefly was ordered to shoot at the rear tiger first and he shot it twice which made the tank burn. After eliminating the rear tiger they pulled back into cover but the second tiger tank in the middle spotted them and shot 2-3 shots at the firefly, luckily tho the shots ricochet and the firefly pulled out of the cover again and shot the tiger in the middle. That tiger blew up and the turret came right off the tank and flew several feet above in the air so they assumed they hitted the ammo and it detonated. After the elimination of the 2 tigers the leading tiger tank finally realized what was going on and started looking for cover but they we're finished off by the firefly before they could. The gunner of that lone firefly was Joe Ekins which is a former worker on a shoe factory. During that engagement Joe was an inexperienced tank gunner as he only fired the 17 pounder once on a training ground. After that battle however he was reassigned as a radio operator for the rest of the war and even him was baffled as to why. After the war several units have started claiming they killed Michael Wittman but several years later historians started to believe that it was Joe and was invited to speak about his part. He eventually conceded and told the story. Joe would later become the oldest gunner of the Challenger 2 which is the current tank used by the British Army

Wittmann had 6 other Tigers with him, his death was more likely done by the Canadians on his other flank. Joe knocked out 3 Tigers, not all 7.

Michael Wittman was in tank 007 which happened to be ammoracked. Historians say he may have been killed by the Northhamptonshire Regiment's sherman firefly

The Canadian Fireflies (4 Fireflies) camp up hours ahead of time but under no orders where they to reveal their position unless they knew for certain this was the Tiger tanks that intel reported on spotting. Once they confirmed not only was it the target they were meant to take out, intel reveal that without a doubt, Michael Wittman was leading that Tiger group. By then the Canadians knew what had to be done. They couldn't let the Tiger Ace who led the wild goose chase at Villers-Bocage to escape.

Nice but some tactics are wrong like in 1:11 instead of going to them head on you should attack the from the side. you cant meet them head on mostly it it consist of high caliber guns that can pen the tiger

I hate to upset the wehraboos but this is utter nonsense. Wittman's tank, alone, crept along a track running parallel to the road. The lead squadron was parked, engines off having a brew awaiting new orders. Most of the victims were carriers and half-tracks stopped nose to tail. Another exaggeration of German prowess. The later battle fought in the town was a melee similar to the one in Kelly's Heroes.

Back then world of tanks had better graphics (war thunder improved since) and wot still manage better the collision physics between vehicles or with objects. In terms of effects I think both are decent
