Decent at least, but on the other side good caster solo, and thats because of 1 reason. Hes not native speaker, and despite funny elements when yeah sounds like JA, it hurts cocasting with native one a bit. Still exeptionally aoe2 knowledge and good emotional interaction give him a big boost compare to rest of non native casters. Plus heh did great job in polishing his language, espesially for a german uts impressive.

How woudl you feel about more civ bans for the next TTL? Feels like some of the picks have been very samey, lots of good hybrid maps (nothing wrong with that of course) but it means we get so many Persians, Malians, Japanese, Italians etc

Makes sense it feels samey at this point because gold was 6 weeks, and plat will be as well. Previous seasons gold didn’t get as much coverage so I expected this-- Playoffs for plat have a different draft.

Cumans are great on Spiral, yes, but the berries are 100% going to have hills on both sides and the TC is so vulnerable.

Great Series as per usual in TTL. Spoilers below Game 2 was a heartbreaker. I really think if Dracken had kept the organs under the castles and just castle crept, like he had the stone control to do, he wins it. Moving out with the organs and them getting caught out was just brutal. Villese snowballed the crap out of those conversions so hard and that wouldn't have happened had Dracken kept them safe under castles. Feels like he expected more early damage from the push and panicked. Obviously this is easier to say in my arm chair though lol.

2nd game is a perfect example that monks are a bit too oppressive in current meta. How is a player with two castles on an opponent's base losing that game? I think monks either need to be more expensive, take longer to produce, or both. I also think redemption should be more expensive or take longer to research. Dracken played well that game, but unfortunately a few monks can swing games early.

Dracken needs to learn to delete units that are being converted. He donated so many organ guns and kipcheks and steppe lancers. He's very stubborn with this

In the second game, when Dracken built his two castles, I thought: "Villese has nothing. When he tries to build Towncenters to boom, he will never get to imperial age and never have a castle. Without castles he can't stop Dracken from further advancing, and without imperial age he will never have the siege to push back against Drackens castles. Even if he gets to imperial age, he won't have a castle for trebuchets and can only get bombard cannons. So he might as well resign and try to win in the third game." And then... well, let's put it this way: This set showed me how bad my game sense is.

I wouldn't call your game sense "bad". After losing his organs he kind of "froze". Stopped producing units entirely. No stables too. Best unit against monks are a lot of light cavalry or faster range units. Organs are way too slow and vulnerable in lower numbers. Especially without support units.

Hve to say i haven't even watched the video for 5 seconds till now but i could guess its 3 - 0 lol... I've seen previous games from drackon and they are very poorly played.. i mean he's great but not plantinum material to be here
