DEAN, I hope you read the comments. TIP: Get a White or Cream Linen Cloth to drape in her basket. Dark colors attract and trap heat which makes Nala hotter. The cloth will help in keeping her cool. Same for you, llight colored linen and cotton will help in keeping you cooler too. And hydrate. hydrate! It's so great to see your vidoes again. Love them. Huge fan! Stay safe , hydrated and have fun.

My cat won’t leave the house. Nala has travelled around most of Europe and has no issues sitting on Dean’s shoulder whilst cycling downhill on a road. She’s some girl 🐈

I had a female cat once who was timid and fearful at home but if I put her into my big SUV and hitched up the camper trailer, she was all "let's GO, Mom!". She and I traveled much of the American Southwest together, plus flew once to Alabama and back from Seattle, WA. The two cats I have now don't like leaving home. I miss my little intrepid girl explorer. She was a great kitty and a great companion.

Lithuania is a beautiful country! And you always seem to find such wonderful spots to stop and camp. It's a far cry from huddling under the highway overpass in the pouring rain. I'm sure you and Nala have both had enough of adventures like that. Can't wait to see what comes next...

It's a very dangerous thing to have let her do, though. I've traveled often with cats and never let them get between myself and the steering wheel or the pedals because the cat could get injured or killed that way. If Dean had to do any kind of emergency maneuver, Nala would be toast. I know this from firsthand experience while towing a camper trailer. My cat was on my lap and I had to make an emergency stop. While we survived it, both she and I sustained injuries although hers were worse than mine. She had a broken rib. I just had bruises. Dean plays with fire letting Nala on his lap while he drives.

I love when Nala is in the bike basket, and she gets up and sniffs the air, smelling all the smells. 🥰 That's one of my favourite things with her. ❤️🥰❤️🥰❤️🥰

On a trip, stopping at gas station, we saw a man on a bike with what looked like a fur around his neck. Seeing him at a rest stop, I totally enjoyed meeting the man AND HIS CAT. On a leash, told of having rescued her, some concerns, I told him to get her spayed. Some of his problems would disappear. I told him about you. Hope they are ok.

Just rescued a semi feral cat and am sitting near him so he gets used to me. (He’s asleep in my bathroom sink.) 😁 This is the perfect moment to watch some Dean and Nala adventures. So glad you guys are back at it!! 😀 🐱🚴

One of my cats was semi feral, took a long time to gain her trust as she had been through a few temporary owners due to her spiciness, but now she is the sweetest, loving little thing who's devoted to my son. Still doesn't like hugs or cuddles, but likes to curl up on us and get lots of strokes and belly rubs. The best advice I got was to make an area just their area that is their safe space, once they understand they have a safe space they calm down and the fear starts to fade.

It’s been a week and he’s doing a lot better, but I’m sure he wants to go back outside. We live in Minnesota with frigid temperatures. There’s no way he’d survive another winter. He was skin and bones. Now he’s eating us out of house and home. 😃 Unfortunately, his vet appointment is Tuesday and I’m terrified to put him through more trauma.

It is lovely to see Dean & Nala back in the saddle! I live in Namibia, where temperatures are regularly in the 30s. Our cat Mars loves to be mopped with a wet mop. He looks like a porcupine afterwards, but he is happy. He also likes to be vacuumed. He's one strange cat!

Dean its great to see you and Nala . we have had cats all our married life , 52 years . we had a dog also she lived 20 years . took them camping . caravanning , you two are perfect together . our son aquired a cat when he moved house as the cat kept coming back after the old gentleman died and Ashi was looked after by his grand daughter. they are so close ,a lovely companion .

Dean, you always find the most beautiful spots to stay. Brings back my childhood and family camping adventures, usually along the Skagit or Wenatchee Rivers. Ah, the moldy smell of an old WWII army tent....Sweet perfume! It didn't hurt that I grew up next to deep woods also - a child's paradise with tame and wild critters everywhere. Dude, I totally feel for ya. Where I live the temps have been 105-112F (40-43C). There are only two ways to beat this kind of heat: air conditioning or water (to swim). 😰 My cats like to lay down on top of or next to a couple of plastic storage bins. I put some reusable Igloo ice blocks in there and they enjoy the coolness. I also built a little foam liner to go around the outside to keep the ice blocks frozen for longer. Works like a charm. ETA: I love how Nala just prances around like the she owns the place and the world is her oyster shell. Wait ... the world *IS* her oyster shell. 😉
