Why are you impolite like this men ?? Those men were heroes, they've done what the others couldn't and they did it right. They were Canadians and they won, we are not talking about Verdun or La Somme or what you want, we are talking of this battle and they did a great job. Peace to their soul.

they won at Vimy DESPITE the British & french. at least their commanders. i don't know where you'd get that idea from.

Vimy was a victory but the battle Arras was a defeat which was planned by Gen Robert Nivelle a Frenchman so shut up about the British who were also at Vimy Ridge.
