Some tips for everyone watching: * Watch each hand separately. Then watch each foot separately. Ok now that you've watched the video 4 times, you will have a better understanding of where each body part needs to go. * I'm taller than 6 feet. I don't know about this guy, but when I'm doing the push up position to step 3, it hurts a lot because my feet need to go past my hands and they can't since my body is long. Do yourself a favor and shorten your push up position so that you do steps 1 and 2 with your feet in front of your hand. Then step 3 will work fine. Good luck everyone!

So I have extreme difficulty learning the six step... Tried it at turtles pace fast Medium My body naturally moves in a fluid motion and at what is refered to as goofy angle and weight shifts.. And one hand must remain flat due to a plate.. And a leg with a bad knee that moves like goofy lead..and drags And I am currently taking a break dance class And researching video and tutorials.. yours were goof So do you have any tips or videos that will help strengthen and allow the flexibility and fluidity of goofy dancers ( or as I have coined the injured adaptive body movement dancers)

Try this, I do my six step by starting out in a squat(on my toes), leaning on my right hand while kicking my right foot out, then I kick my left foot out and bring the right foot in, then do sort of a coffee grinder to bring it around while on my left hand, then proceed to the push up position. Do it the opposite way if you're left handed, and you can start this from a push up position if you wish. This is my way of doing it, so it may or may not be for you. Hope this helps :).

When I finish doing it once I end up in a different direction. I'm practicing so I go kind of slow. When I go from step 2 to 3 I use both hands to support me to make sure I don't fall. I mentioned this because when he's going at a normal pace( for him ) he just switches his hands instead of using both. Can anyone tell me what I might be doing wrong?
@angelinema43308 жыл бұрын
you're not doing anything wrong, you're just doing it slowly, which means you're in the position longer, thus, you probably need more support. you can we that he uses both of his hands at about 2:17 when he does it slowly. when he does it fast, he doesn't have both hands on the floor simultaneously because he's not in the crabwalk position for that long.
