This was perhaps the one scene this season where I felt that Catherine was the one being unfair to Vincent. She should have understood that, with his memory lost, to Vincent her and him were really just strangers, and therefore he naturally didn't feel entitled to any of the 'rules' that apply to people who are in a relationship, such as honesty.. But of course, Catherine being Catherine, she pushed him to hard and ended up pushing him away from her.. and then got pissed at him for that.. So yeah, in that one scene I was thinking 'Poor Vincent'.. :( Great video! :)

Tnx!❤️ I totally agree! For a long time, she never really grasped how V has changed, and not because of his own free will. But then she also had her own issues to face. Must've been hard looking for him all those months, not knowing if he's alive or dead. Then when she finally found him, he didn't remember her! Heartbreaking!💔

indaylorimar I don't know, maybe I'm just too aloof myself, but the way I see it, for now the point is She found him! Alive, too! Yeah! ;) To me that would be ample enough at first.. and she did say herself that it was alright as it meant they got to fall in love all over again.. but then she started 'pressuring' him to remember, and it just doesn't work like that. I don't know, I think I just would have excepted her character to have learned from what had happened the first time they met when she tried to force herself into his life too quickly and he pushed her away. He doesn't remember her, but she knows him. And I feel like her obsession, once again, made her selfish and she overlooked his needs so he could satisfy hers as quickly as possible.. which, in my mind, probably isn't the best way to rekindle a relationship: repeating the exact same mistakes you made the first time.. :)

Honestly I think you guys are choosing to overlook a lot of things and that has lead to some faulty interpretations. A) Catherine says that it is ok that he doesn't remember, until he went and killed someone. Then in the next episode with the starting conversation with Tess and Gabe, Gabe was saying he wanted to "hold and asses him" meaning he wants to put him in a cage like he is some out of control killer. Which is why she was pushing for him to get his memories back because then it means he can have his humanity back and that he doesn't need to be locked up like Gabe wanted to do to him. It's also why she keeps Gabe and Tess at a distance in that episode. And aside from that she doesn't trust Gabe. B) But then, he saves Gina from that other beast which to her suggests that he is not an out of control killer that needs to be locked up. She even tells Gabe that . Gabe also manages to float the theory to Cat that Vincent might be under some ones control. And at the end of that episode when he comes to her roof she tells him it's ok that he doesn't remember because of how he saved someone's life and they get to have all their firsts together. So, she really is ok with it just the whole he killed someone thing, and the conversation with Gabe and Tess that was making her push for his memories back. C) Fast forward to the end of that episode where she has to confront the possibility that he is being controlled by someone after he told her he isn't supposed to do this. That kind of tipped off that maybe Gabe was right about him being controlled. Then she got to see for herself how strong a hold this person that is controlling is, after the shoving incident .Next episode she makes it clear that it is not his fault that he shoved her it was the fault of whoever was controlling him. But just because it's not his fault doesn't mean he doesn't still need help, that he doesn't need to break free of the person controlling him. But she can't be direct and ask about it honestly because when she did, you know what happened. D) Even though he was under someone's control that person didn't force him to fake that memory that was a choice he made to do so. He took advantage of the fact she was trying to help him and he used it against her. That part was of his own free will. E) Her closing the window wasn't because she doesn't want him in her life. It's because her life was already a mess and now with this whole bombshell that was dropped on her she doesn't know what to believe anymore. She needs certainty and at the moment Vincent can't give her that because he can't be honest with her about his missions. She needed to take some time to herself. At a few points she made it clear that she is trying to save herself so then she can save Vincent.

@@miaamer7718 I would have to go back to my DVDs and refresh my memory of the show, but the points you made all seem very fair.. :)
