In college back in the 80s we use to go listen to him play in a bar near downtown Columbus. "Hey Vince, Play Saxophone" - great music.

In the mid to late 90’s I was a student at world harvest bible college and a member of their church. I played alto sax in the church horn section and at the school. Vince’s playing was amazing , every single time. To this day, it still amazes me. What an incredible, powerful sound and passion he played with. I remember he was very much a perfectionist with his playing. He held a very high standard for himself. He was an inspiration to my own playing for many years to come.

Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost, but now am found Was blind but now I see Was Grace that taught my heart to fear And Grace, my fears relieved How precious did that Grace appear The hour I first believed Through many dangers, toils and snares We have already come T'was Grace that brought us safe thus far And Grace will lead us home And Grace will lead us home Amazing Grace, how sweet the sound That saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now am found Was blind but now I see Was blind, but now I see

There HAS to be Saxophones in Heaven’s Orchestra. Because what musical instrument brings you closer to the Spirit than a Saxophone? I’ll wait!

If you cant play in tune with out all this adlibing then forget it. Spoil again from some one that thinks they have the wright to do this to such an iconic tune.
