Acojonante. BRAVO!!!

Very nicely done. Is it ever so slightly slower than the original or just my imagination though. That totally aside though, this is fantastic work.
@juliancroot Жыл бұрын
This was a tough nut to crack. I tried to match the tempo to the film version, but the album version is quite different. Also PAL DVDs play 4% too fast because of the 25fps standard (instead of 24), so that can complicate matters in terms of pitch and pacing.

Very nice cover. Rocky 4 is my favorite movie. I've heard a lot of cover versions over the years and very few get it right. You thankfully remember all those little nuances that everyone else always forgets. GREAT JOB!!!

Thanks man, it means a lot when people appreciate the work that goes into these. The Rocky IV tracks are probably the most complicated tracks I've yet attempted. I think War was the trickiest. Thanks for watching. :)

Your improved version is FANTASTIC!!!! I can hear that you like to improve the tracks you create and it is a quality that has the true musician who wants to get the best out of his current skills (I do the same too)!!! This version is much more powerful, with a sharper EQ and I really enjoyed soloist at the minute 2:00 much more in the foreground and brilliant!!! Keep it up with your magnificent work, my dear friend!!! I love listening/watching what you create :) :) :)
@juliancroot3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Kos. Only you could have noticed the change to the solo at 2:00.. I did strengthen the guitar sound, and also corrected a wrong note in that section. There were other subtle changes to the harmony and the note length of the lead synth. Its weird how you think something is finished, yet weeks later you hear things that need fixing. This one bugged me so much I had to do something about it. Thanks for your inspiration and support.
@KOSmusicovers3 жыл бұрын
@@juliancroot Oh yes, that's exactly what happens to me too!!! Unfortunately, when you recreate a track from scratch, you have to think about too many things and you can't get everything right. In fact, I have now found a technique to limit this problem. Once the track is finished, I stop listening to it for a few days and do something else (to detach my mind from the track). So, when I listen to it again I immediately hear the errors and wrong equalizations. I repeat this process 2 more times to make sure I have almost what I wanted :) :) :)
@Vaporvice843 жыл бұрын
Hey KOS, any chance we'll get some Rocky 4 recreations from you in the ear future? Your covers are all already boss!!!

@@Vaporvice84 Hello, my friend!! What a pleasure to see you here :) Actually, every time I watch the movie and hear this incredible soundtrack, I feel like doing them... but I also know that I would need more time and energy to get to work on these complex tracks. Surely when I have the chance I will do them with particular interest (I love these masterpieces)!!! Thanks again Tyler, for your immense kindness :) :) :)
