Every one of these players is a master. And also the key to masterful country playing is playing less notes, but playing more soul/feel. This is one special performance.

Vince is an awesome singer, songwriter & entertainer. He is one of very few singers, that can sing many different styles: Country, Bluegrass, Gospel, etc.... He has always been one of my favorite singers, & anyone who knows his music & voice like I do, would know that he has, still can & always will be able to take any singers song & remake it & sing it, Vince Gill style. He sings everyones songs as though they were his very own. Thank you Vince, for a lifetime of awesome music. A lifelong fan always. :)

There are a lot of us out here who would never get to see or hear such incredible music performed by the best musicians on the planet 'cause we live too far away. Please keep it up. The Time Jumpers are an amazing group, and there are no adequate words to describe how great a musician/singer Vince is.

A love Vince and The Time Jumpers..I saw Vince once in Nashville i 2015..I am an Aussie. I wasn't sure what Vince looked like. I saw this bloke in shorts and flip flops a tee shirt and unshaven setting up .I walked up to him and said "g/day mate, what is this Vince Gill like" , he smiled and said "I reckon he is ok" I honestly did not know it was him. I was overcome with embarrassment when he sat down and was joined by he rest of the band and started to play. What a show and when he saw me he gave me a big wink and a smile .Thank you Vince..

Man, Vince is a seriously country singer. Time Jumpers are the best country band I've ever heard, or heard of. While any of these guys can tear it up at will, restraint is the order of the day. In fact, IMHO the main difference between deep country and deep blues is restraint versus release.

I had the pleasure of meeting Vince in Birmingham, AL. Amy was promoting and autographing new cds at a Christian Bookstore and I was hired as security. Vince came in with Amy, and the funny thing was, I don’t think any of the contemporary Christian fans of Amy’s music even knew who he was! So after we got Amy set up at her table, I eased over back where Vince was and introduced myself. Vince was a super nice guy and I asked him if not being recognized bothered him. And he said “Well you did, didn’t you?” Then he laughed and he said no, this was Amy’s spotlight and he was just here to watch her enjoying herself. Then he thanked me for my service in law enforcement, and directed his attention back to his lovely wife. What a super nice and classy guy!

He’s a very good studied unsurprising guitarist but he’s a top rate total package when you consider his singing, personality, looks and song-writing. Not one whose collected album would be the one you’d take to an island if you were only allowed one, but worth listening to. I also loved the video of him interacting with Chet Atkins on a morning TV show. It was real and sweet. And he played very well with Chet. They each took it easy on the other. No ego. All notes pretty much in the melody but effortlessly played. Vince Gill is a very talented genuinely very nice person.
