@Kylieshea09 Patty is incredible. Plain and simple. My mom loved her songs, especially " If my heart had windows." We had concert tickets to see her in 1996, but she died of cancer a few months earlier. And I learned that Patty's sister Dottie died within days of my mom's death. I felt like a connection to her. When I was blessed to meet her, I told her that my mom was such a fan, and we planned to see Vince Gill, but she died on June 27th, 1996. And I knew that her sister passed away about that time. Patty said it was 2 or 3 days before that. I said to her that I had given a sympathy card and I put a small picture of my mom in her card. And when I said that to her.. she said she was holding a small dog. I nodded and said yes, and that little dog died 2 months earlier in April. So Patty Loveless means a lot to me. I love her so much. For the last 27 years, I've been her fan. And I always will be.

I am about as far away from my Old Ky Home and not be in the Gulf of Mexico, so just seeing Miss Patty from Eastern Kentucky finally recognized for her fabulous voice makes me homesick. Her Mountain Soul albums should have been nominated for CMA’s, Grammy’s and all kinds of other initials. She is one of the few female singers period that still sounds as good as ever!! Have you heard Faith, Trisha, Martina, etc that can compete with Patty’s voice. When she sang with Chris Stapleton in Lexington she kicked butt and when she got to sing at the CMA’s last year, again all NATURAL, no tweaking, auto tune! How many singers can still do that, especially since she’s been singing for quite a few decades! Love Miss Patty and keeping fingers crossed for Mountain Soul 3! Can we start a petition?
