Well, if I had met Vince when I first started playing I think our souls would have been playing together right now. Vince you are a gift of God to this planet and to all that is music!

I love how he just casually bonks his $90k 000-45 on the stand and doesn't even bat at eye.

I return to this video every now and then just to hear the dozen or so notes played on that 000-45. And then while I'm here I repeat it a few times.

This was "too" short of a trip with Vince and his guitars....Vince , along with Neil Young...I believe have many vintage Martins....each has a unique style to bring out the best of these guitars....thx you Vince, for sharing your "babies" with us...a glimpse at your "tools" you use to make very fine music. ^/^

I could sit here all day and listen to him talk about guitars. what a collection he's got.

I've been asked the same question, Gil. Why have the same guitars. They just don't understand. The feel,sound, wood, each has the own personality.

I was at a rehearsal once and after it was over and I was walking out with two guitar cases, one of the guys asked me what the other guitar was for. I was like, "Oh, I used it on (whatever songs I used it for) today". He was surprised that he didn't recall seeing two different guitars until I opened up the cases to reveal two virtually identical sunburst strats. It was funny, you had to be there

Love this guy. A humble man with a lot of means. Amazing ability both vocally and guitar playing. Those few "thumbs down" I feel sorry for. They must be miserable. I hope they feel better soon.

I would think that leaving those guitars in the window wouldn't be very good.

I heard Vince has a vault within his guitar room where he keeps a collection of Zager guitars. Now that would be a cool tour to see.

Wow Mr. Gil, what lucky you are to possess that treasure of collection of unique guitars. Unbelievable. Congratulations, and I admire you the way you master this beautiful and universal instrument. Just outstanding and one of the best ever. The killing guitar player...👌👌👇🏻👍👍👍👏👏👏

Vince has so many guitars yet almost always plays his blonde '53 Tele, which he's talked about on occasion as being his all time favourite.

Fantastic collection. Surely not depreciating anytime soon, they aren't making any more 1920's, 1930's or 1960's guitars. Vince's Stratocaster collection alone has to be worth upwards of $500,000. Each of those Martins he pulled can fetch over $80,000-$120,000. That room probably houses $2,000,000++ in rare guitars. Amazing to see them.

Vince ..invest in an Aqua Dam and your home will never flood again!
@PlanetRockJesus10 жыл бұрын
Hard to believe that someone as rich as Vince would be living in a flood-prone area.
@andrewjones361310 жыл бұрын
the guitars were stored at a huge warehouse/stoundstage along with numerous other country Giants gear. It was also a freak of nature thing as well. It hasn't flooded here in over 50 or more years. Needless to say, the company moved to protect from flooding etc... It was an insane and freakish event that affected the entire Nashville community
