Looking at the faces I can see the deep understanding being reflected. I often wondered why I love sad songs ... songs that make me cry. And then I realized, it's usually only through music that I can reach the hidden places that I usually can't find or touch. And the funny thing is even when I'm really sad it's the songs that make me cry that lift me up and take the hurt away.

Vince Gill is my favorite country singer and I love how he can harmonize. He has a wonderful voice and he sings with the other country singers. If I feel down, I can listen to Vince Gill and his voice and his songs he has written are just what I need to hear and it lifts me up. My late husband that I lost to Leukemia (AML). We enjoyed listening to Vince Gill and also enjoyed listening to the Bill Gaither programs on Saturday nights. That was are favorite country programs. My Jerry has been gone almost 20 years this November. Now I listen to Vince Gill and the Grand Old Opry by myself and I enjoy the good country music and especially when Vince Gill is singing. I will never get tired of listening to Vince Gill. His song Up on the High Mountain. I love it very much.
