What Joe was saying is that because Ak is DJ Akademiks who champions all of the lils and holds a different standard himself when it comes to the content between old lyrical artists and new trap/mumble artists, that his opinion is RIGHTFULLY criticised. Vic's opinion as a lyricist and fan of the old heads in hip hop makes his opinion more respectable from an objective point of view, of course everyone is going to have a problem with opinions that differ from their own no matter who the person with the opposing opinion is, but if we're dissecting the culture and looking at things objectively, it's valid to criticize Ak for some of his left field opinions considering who he is in this community and what music/artists he favors and gives coverage to(not saying he's wrong for liking what he likes and being a blogger, just saying that because of that his view on certain things triggers people because he seemingly holds different regards towards what people see as "real hip hop".
