I feel like Vincent Adultman is a metaphor. The show is so clever, it wouldn't just throw a "Three kids on top of each other" joke at us. I've told people to watch this show and they dismiss by the title alone. But besides BoJack it's jokes and characters like Vincent Adultman, that keep it interesting and fresh. Especially towards the end when the show gets a little heavy with BoJack's emotions, Vincent shows up and lightens the mood.

There's little nuance jokes that go by without a notice until the third or fourth viewing of an episode. Like the goat gardener that takes a bite out of the hedges he's trimming. Or the waitress walking up to Todd and saying "this cow likes to be tipped."
