I met Mr. Price after his one man show in Chicago. I traded a copy of my grandmother's Bohemian cookbook for his autograph in my copy of his cookbook.. He was very tall and towered over my then husband's 6'3". On the way back to our car down Michigan Ave., we found we were walking behind Mr. Price. He was alone just ahead of us. On coming pedestrians, would do double takes when they realized who was walking, alone towards them. Who would expect Vincent Price walking, alone, up Michigan Avenue in Chicago?

Channel 148 on Sirius radio, old radio shows. I started listening to Sherlock Holmes radio shows on cassette tapes in the 80s. Thrilled to find the radio classics on Sirius. Also try to find Fibber McGee, that’s my favorite. I’ve heard one Saint, he sounds witty & snarky & a little tongue in cheek, just like Price’s later spooky movies.

Vincent Price's voice is charming and haunting at the same time. Marvelous stuff. I really need to get around to committing his voice and tone to memory so I can utilize his voice in my head for certain villains in the comics I read

There are two or three LPs of ghost stories read by Price that can be found on youtube. Try to find his reading of “The Goldbug” by Poe (got this on a 6 cd set by Caedmon of spooky stories read by different people). It’s great! Enjoy your channel, thanks!🎃
