It's AI. Sounds fine till you realize the reader does not care what it's reading. I'm curious if you were able to listen for very long and if your opinion changed? I can never pay attention to even these new improved AI voices.

Thanks. I couldn't figure out what he was supposed to have said. I briefly played with the idea that his name was Jay and he was reverting to childhood. Seeing (hearing?) that it is an AI narrator I should have expected it to mangle something.

Richard Crowest is very good too at reading the same time frame of stories as Simon Stanhope & Jasper L'Estrange. This isn't that bad for an AI voice, but I do prefer real people reading.

I liked these stories... A different type.. My favourite is Henkensons perfect crime 😂😂😂.. The first two were good detective stories... The man who was two.. is very touching.. i am completing the story by saying that they checked his blood group and found that it was that of Connor, not that of the gunman. So they decided to release him... And he lived happily..

What evidence is there that the reader is AI? What evidence is there that the (negative) comments are not bots? Hmmm...the plot thickens. Punctuations and pauses sound very human to me. The fact that i didn't stop listening as well.

Yes AI voices are getting more human sounding. I guess they are sampling so many that they should improve. But the weird pauses (page endings?) and lack of the correct emotions and differentiation in characters give it away. But still better than a lot of Librivox readers!
