I graduated from lafayette in 67. The field was known as rock stadium. They had to play all football games away. Looks pretty nice now.

Its funny you mention catering halls and working them, and i remember growing up around the area that was a big part of life at the time. There were always parties and whatnot going on and i guess with the changing times and peoples needs most of them are gone now as they fell out of favor.

I remember towards the late 90's is when catering halls started folding up and then by 2005, most were gone.

Correct. Prime Meat was there and Mirage used to be next door on the corner. Then Mirage took up the Prime Meat space next door in 2015 or so.👍🏻💯

True. I also forgot to mention Villa Paradiso back in the day on the corner of 20th and Bath. It was a nice Italian restaurant. Much has chenged.

You walked right by Cavallaro without a mention? 😅. The pharmacy on 17th and Bath is owned by my buddy Bob. One of the last mob shootings before they became less violent happened there. Pino's was great back in the day and I used to eat lunch there often in the 80s and 90s.New owner now I'm pretty sure. Thanks for the walk
