Although Angela Gheorghiu's rendition of casta diva will always be the finest version of this aria, i must admit that this version is also well worth listening to. She seems to be a deeply gifted opera singer :)

Ich gebe gern zu, dass ich kritisch höre - ich bin wie ein Stammtischfußballer im Gesang und kann gar nichts. Ich habe mir die Arie zwei Male angehört, um Joyce El-Khoury auszukosten: ihre Interpretation ist sicher und ich nenne sie reif, weil nur eine erfahrene Sängerin derart vollendet interpretiert. Joyce El-Khoury zeigt eine kraftvolle Stimme, die sie sensibel einsetzt. Es ist ein herrliches Spiel von Crescendo und Decrescendo - stellt sie auf einen Marktplatz a cappella und sie hypnotisiert alle! Danke für diese schöne Interpretation.
