Do it. I dreamt of going when I was younger but kept holding off for years because of work or no money or too many bills. One day I decided to just go and I did. I never regretted it. @@vincenzosplate of course, as a Campanian, my favourite saying has to be in Neapolitan. My grandma used this expression so I don't know if it is her way to say it or if everyone in Campania just does. She used to say "A santu Bellill è o nom suoj" literally meaning "Her/his nameday is on Saint Beautiful day" and metaphorically "He/she is so beautiful that his/her name is Beautiful". Of course saint Beautiful doesn't exist. She used it to compliment me and other grandkids, but also as a mockery when I told her I liked a boy and she wanted to tell me I was a little obsessed and he wasn't that handsome (she didn't like him and she was proven right ahaha).

Lived in a village just outside Naples for 6 years-They fry EVERYTHING in Naples and EVERYTHING is good there... We ate like kings and queens and learned a lot about cooking.

Please do not promote some of these places. Naples was filthy, Spaccanapoli was absolutely horrendous and the food was awful. I could not believe how smelly and dirty this place was not to mention the rudeness of the people.
