Unlucky when it comes to the mustang :(( My friend recently crashed the 944 because of bad weather, winter tires and lift off oversteer. We are currently fixing the damage and basically doing all the seals and gaskets of the engine :) glad it didn't hit the timing belt during the crash since it's an interference engine

@@Vincetagram to each their own I guess. If I was buying a Camaro I'd always default to the V8, but I wouldn't really feel shame in driving a well specced V6 example either. The platform is great from a dynamics perspective, and the active exhaust really makes them sing. I do agree that base engine muscle car drivers are mostly kinda shit though. There was a guy in my old neighborhood with an Ecoboost Mustang that was always doing the most unhinged shit during traffic hours.

The huayra hate makes no sense man - the archaic engine is part of the charm that's why they STILL use them. That's what people want. And the car isn't from 'this decade' the car was made in the early 2010s - 700/800hp back then was only behind the Ageras and the Veyrons until the holy trinity came out and even then 700/800hp was still ballistic. And the Huayra does all of this without any hybrid assistance and with the 'archaic' V12. The only issue I have with the Huayras is the gearbox - using a SCT instead of a DCT to save 100kg doesn't make much sense to me when the car is already so light at just 1250kg.

C43 and c63 don't look the same have different bumpers and if nothing else it has diferent tail pipes and c43 engine is also made in AMG factory so it is a real amg

Honestly love how you give credit to Pagani for the craftsmanship. Yeah, it makes "only" 700 hp, but it is incredibly light. I agree and think the old old drivetrain is a bit questionable though.

Archaic ? The Huayra can pelt up to 230 mph. Horsepower means shit if you can't do anything with it, The car has the same amount of HP as it does TQ. The hell kinda take is that ? The Huayra ended with 830 HP with its last BC Tri-Colore editions with even more TQ, the lack of a DCT was purposeful as to save weight I mean COME ONE that was the point. First take is null and void here given that all that was overlooked.

It’s not like that’s a feat in that price range. The veyron and others did that more than a decade ago but if the jesko and the tourbillion used the same drivetrain as back then they’d low key be disappointing. The only company who ppl let that shit slide with is pagani. If the goal was to save weight they could have gone with a manual like ppl actually wanted and they clearly realized that with the new pagani utopia. Weight savings is low key an excuse to not have to develop or source a new transmission because a single clutch semi auto in a 7 figure car in the past 5 years or so is unacceptable. I’ve never driven a single clutch car where the driving experience hasn’t been ruined by how terrible the gear shifts actually feel. You could buy a car with all the performance in the world, but if the driving experience is not actually as good as it could be given the technology that’s available at the time, why is it worth 1.4 million dollars? Why is an engine and transmission that’s also available in really cheap used mercs still worthy of being in such a car nowadays?

The engine it has is bespoke to THE HUAYRA AND UTOPIA, the M158 is not shared in ANY MERCEDES or did you just missed that fact. "Two decade engine", you also mean Bugatti with the W16 repurposed and Konigsegg with the Agera V8 reused and retuned in the Jesko. If it isn't broke WHY FIX IT ? Why is an engine that has ridiculously engineered from the get go that has diesel torque AN ISSUE regardless of its age. And who is "people wanted" our broke asses ? The car was waitlisted its entire life cycle, clearly the ones who are the target market DID NOT CARE, and whats ironic is that the Utopia comes both Automated Manual and Traditional and as of the registry keeping track MOST ARE AUTO I wonder WHY, "people wanted is crazy" we aren't the target market the closest we are gonna see these cars are in Forza or a Cars and Coffee. not saying 700hp is inadequate, but other cars in the same price range are pushing boundaries in engineering and pushing twice as much hp while sounding better. Also, I was moreso criticizing the drivetrain as a whole, because the single clutch single auto absolutely does not do business. It's a unit that mercedes ditched a long time ago and there's a reason they went back to manuals only with the pagani utopia. Like the aventador, it's one of those cars I'm surprised never got a dual clutch.

@@Vincetagram why they didn't go with a dual clutch I have no clue other than the fact it saved them 70> kg, as for Mercedes ditching the engine, they are quite trigger happy when it comes to ditching larger engines, ie the n/a v8 in the c63. When it comes to power ere are the stats. Mclaren P1: kerb weight 1490 kg, power with hybrid 903 bhp, without 727 bhp power to weight 487 bhp no EV, and 606 with full power from the hybrid.
